Return and Refund Policy

At Sarah Sewing Machines, your satisfaction matters to us.
While we are here to support you with troubleshooting and guidance,
sometimes a return may be necessary.
Please review the policies below,
which outline our return and refund process.

General Return Policy – 7 Days

  • All eligible items must be returned within 7 days of delivery.

  • A restocking fee will apply to all returns. (The percentage may vary depending on the item’s condition and category.)

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.

  • If your order qualified for free shipping, the original outbound shipping cost will also be deducted.

  • All returned items are subject to inspection prior to refund or store credit issuance.

Accessories, Tools & More – 7-Day Return Policy

Unopened Items

  • Unopened items in their original packaging may be returned or exchanged within 7 days.

  • A restocking fee and all shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.

Opened Items

  • Opened but resealable items may qualify for a refund, minus:

    • Restocking fee 20%

    • Applicable shipping costs

  • Missing components or accessories will be deducted from the refund.

  • Items not in resealable condition may qualify for store credit only.

Damaged Items

  • If your item arrives damaged, email us photos of the packaging and product within 24 hours of delivery.

  • We will send you a replacement at no additional cost.

Incorrect Items

  • If you receive the wrong item, please contact us right away.

  • We’ll promptly ship the correct item and cover all related costs.

Special Order Items

  • Special orders (items not listed on our website that are brought in specifically for you) are final sale and cannot be canceled or returned.

Sewing Machines – 7-Day Return Policy (Excludes Industrial Models)

  • Sewing machines may be returned within 7 days of delivery.

  • A restocking fee and shipping deductions apply to all machine returns.

Unopened Machines

  • Machines must be in original factory packaging with all seals intact.

  • Refunds will be issued minus:

    • Restocking fee

    • Outbound shipping costs (even if free shipping was applied)

Opened Machines

  • Opened machines may be returned for store credit only, provided they are:

    • In original factory packaging

    • Complete with all accessories, manuals, and paperwork

    • Undamaged and fully functional

  • Missing or damaged components may result in additional deductions.

Defective Products or Order Issues

  • If your machine arrives defective, we will offer a repair or replacement.

  • If you decline this, the return will be processed as a standard return with shipping and restocking fee deductions.

Damaged Deliveries

  • Report visible package damage within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos.

  • We will quickly resolve the issue with a replacement or repair.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain products cannot be returned or refunded due to vendor restrictions, shipping requirements, or resale limitations.

Refund Processing

  • Once we receive your returned item, please allow 2–5 business days for inspection and processing.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment used at the time of purchase.

  • If your refund does not appear after 5 business days, please check with your bank or credit card provider before contacting us.
